Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Spijkers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philippi Brooksi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyrone Spijkers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Philippi Brooksi! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooksi has his takedown stuffed and Spijkers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Brooksi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brooksi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Spijkers. Brooksi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Spijkers defends well and Brooksi ends up having to push Spijkers into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Tyrone Spijkers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Philippi Brooksi. Brooksi shoots in but Spijkers avoids the takedown attempt easily. Philippi Brooksi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brooksi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Brooksi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spijkers as he avoids it easily. Brooksi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Spijkers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Spijkers is looking to counter with a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brooksi gets a double leg takedown into Spijkers's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Brooksi working some strikes from top position. Brooksi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Spijkers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brooksi on the ground. Spijkers keeping moving, preventing Brooksi from controlling successfully. Brooksi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brooksi lands a couple of decent looking shots. Brooksi content to stall in guard here. Spijkers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Brooksi postures up in Spijkers's guard and throws a big left but Spijkers blocks it. Spijkers is adopting a defensive guard. Brooksi landing some decent shots from guard. Spijkers controls Brooksi momentarily but Brooksi frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Brooksi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brooksi working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Spijkers's head. Brooksi stands up over Spijkers, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Brooksi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Spijkers's head. Brooksi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Brooksi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Brooksi landing with the ground and pound. Brooksi with a nice head shot there. Brooksi stands up over Spijkers, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Brooksi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooksi controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Brooksi prevents Spijkers from getting back to his feet. Brooksi scoring with punches to the head and body. Brooksi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spijkers works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Brooksi scoring with punches to the head and body. Spijkers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brooksi controls the pace. Spijkers is breathing heavily. Brooksi lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Brooksi is stalling in the full guard. Spijkers has momentary wrist control but Brooksi slips an elbow through the middle. It looks like Brooksi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brooksi lands a couple of decent looking shots. Brooksi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Brooksi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spijkers looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Brooksi working over Spijkers with some ground and pound. Spijkers looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Philippi Brooksi has got the better of the ground game so far. Brooksi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Brooksi not doing much here.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brooksi with the ground and pound from mount. Brooksi punishing his opponent with strikes. Brooksi postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Spijkers in real trouble here! The ref calls for Spijkers to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
