Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dong Kim Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Knorr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matheus Knorr!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knorr with a poor takedown

and Jung counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Knorr actively working from the bottom here.
Knorr is trying to maintain the position but Jung is very close to passing his half guard.

Knorr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Knorr is refusing to be controlled, as Jung sits in half guard.

Jung is working for a kimura but Knorr is defending it quite comfortably.

Knorr looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Knorr keeps working.
Jung prevents Knorr from improving his position.
Jung is keen to just control but Knorr is a slippery customer.

Jung is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Knorr sees it coming and defends easily.
Knorr works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jung is pushing down on Knorr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Knorr is fighting to maintain full guard but Jung has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jung uses his free foot to push down on Knorr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Knorr.
Knorr sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Jung works his way into full mount!

Jung working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Jung with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jung really is a fat lump.
Knorr regains half guard.
Jung is controlling the pace.
Knorr trying to hold on to Jung's head to control him but Jung postures up.

Knorr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jung pulls his head out easily.
Jung is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Jung is looking to take a break and control but Knorr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jung tries to pass to full mount but Knorr defends it.
Jung really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Knorr wants to get back to full guard.
Knorr is not content to let Jung control the position.

Jung is working for a submission of some sort.
Jung wants to free his trapped foot but Knorr is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are battling for position here. Knorr manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Dong Kim Jung dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Knorr shoots in looking for a takedown but Jung manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Knorr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Jung counters with a shoot takedown. Knorr fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jung trying to control the position from guard on top but Knorr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knorr can't keep his opponent in guard - Jung advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Jung passes to full mount!
Knorr tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jung wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Jung is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knorr can do to turn this around?

Knorr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jung's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jung's back!

Knorr is cranking Jung's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Jung! He's tightened the choke and Jung is tapping out!
