Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuvraj Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yuvraj Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Ram!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh lands with an uppercut that bounces Ram off the cage and back into range.


It looks like John Ram has been cut.
Singh misses with a few strikes there.
Ram shoots in for a double leg but Singh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ram misses with a takedown attempt - Singh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Singh was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ram shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Singh defends it nicely.
Singh went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Yuvraj Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Ram.
Ram darts in looking for a takedown but Singh gets double underhooks and turns Ram into the cage.
Singh clobbers Ram with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ram should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ram shoots in and bounces Singh off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Singh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Singh tries to get out of the position.
Ram connects with a couple of short punches.
Ram in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ram trying to control the position from guard on top but Singh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Singh has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Singh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ram on the ground.
Ram trying to control but Singh is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ram shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Singh counters with a straight right hand.

Singh throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Ram tumbling to the canvas!


Ram is rocked!


That has opened up John Ram's cut even more.
Singh's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Ram is still in real trouble! Can Singh finish him?

Ram seems to have recovered his senses.

Singh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ram is keeping the position for now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Singh cracks Ram with a big right hand and Ram goes down!


The cut above John Ram's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Singh won't allow Ram to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Singh seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ram for as long as he can get away with.
Singh prevents Ram from getting back to his feet.
Singh is stalling in the full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yuvraj Singh dominated that round.
The cut man is working on John Ram's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Singh cracks Ram with a hook to the temple - Ram is on wobbly legs here! Singh swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Ram falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Singh wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Yuvraj Singh!
