Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Omar Harrak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Omar Harrak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrak blocks the body kick.
Fitzgerald lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Harrak scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Harrak looks to land a left hand but Fitzgerald moved out of range nicely.
Fitzgerald pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A counter left hand to the body from Harrak misses its target.
Harrak changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Harrak tests Fitzgerald's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Harrak definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Harrak connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fitzgerald has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fitzgerald throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Fitzgerald seems to have recovered his senses.
Harrak throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fitzgerald throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fitzgerald drops his hands momentarily and Harrak takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fitzgerald takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Harrak gets a clinch.
Fitzgerald pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald throws a leg kick but Harrak checks it.
Harrak swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Harrak has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fitzgerald.

and Harrak counters with a nice right hand that sends Fitzgerald toppling to the canvas! Fitzgerald scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Harrak finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fitzgerald misses with an uppercut. Harrak saw that one coming.
Harrak clinches.
Fitzgerald misses with a hook from the clinch.
Harrak pushes Fitzgerald back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Harrak drops Fitzgerald onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Fitzgerald is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Harrak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Harrak throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald tries to work over Harrak's front leg with a kick but Harrak checks it.
Fitzgerald swings away with a body shot that misses
and Harrak counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Harrak.
Harrak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harrak fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fitzgerald, pushing him back against the cage.

Harrak takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

and Harrak counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Harrak on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald obviously looking to wear him down.
Fitzgerald tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Fitzgerald turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Harrak throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fitzgerald counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Carter Fitzgerald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fitzgerald throws a chopping leg kick but Harrak manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Harrak is looking to counter the offense by Fitzgerald and move into the clinch.
Harrak cracks Fitzgerald with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Fitzgerald tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Harrak pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Fitzgerald is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Omar Harrak!
During a confident post fight interview, Omar Harrak thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
