Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macdonald is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cena sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Cena throws a right and a left that Macdonald avoids nicely. Cena gets caught napping as Macdonald dives in and scores a takedown. Cena manages to retain guard. Macdonald has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cena is proving hard to escape from. Macdonald stays in close to Cena's body and controls the position. Macdonald avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Macdonald content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macdonald prevents Cena from getting back to his feet. Macdonald controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Macdonald wants to stand but Cena is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Cena tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cena instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cena gets underhooks to prevent Macdonald's takedown attempt.

Macdonald is trying to pull guard but Cena turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lane Macdonald. That's going to take a lot out of him. Macdonald has had enough of the clinch but Cena keeps him there for the moment. Macdonald fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Macdonald jumps guard and drags Cena to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Cena working some strikes from top position. Cena drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Macdonald dives on top into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Macdonald controlling the action here. Macdonald prevents Cena from improving his position. Macdonald decides to stand up. Cena gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Cena blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Macdonald pulls guard effortlessly.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Macdonald seems keen to control Cena's posture. Cena has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Macdonald to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cena is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Macdonald pulls down on the head and he's put Cena to sleep! This one is all over!
