The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Abusy eats them both and turns towards Chan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Chan misses with a straight right.
Gary Abusy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chan looks to land a right hand but Abusy moved out of range.
Chan moves away from the strike by Abusy.
Abusy throws a nice inside leg kick.
A swing and a miss from Abusy.
Chan throws a nice looking combination but Abusy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Chan lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Abusy throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Abusy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chan's hands.

Abusy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Abusy lands a head kick. Chan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Abusy slips a jab and a cross from Chan.
Chan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

A nice side step and Chan releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Abusy scores with a sloppy right hand. Chan should have avoided that one.
Abusy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Chan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Abusy steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Chan is out on his feet! Abusy sets himself and nearly takes Chan's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
