Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Erwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rashad Wilkinson! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erwin needs to keep his hands up - Wilkinson had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Tyler Erwin has been cut. Erwin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wilkinson throws a hook to the side of Erwin's head but Erwin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Erwin slips a jab and a cross from Wilkinson.
Wilkinson misses with a looping left. Erwin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Erwin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Erwin throws a big counter combination but Wilkinson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Wilkinson dives into side control looking to finish.
Erwin is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Erwin pushes Wilkinson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wilkinson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Oh Erwin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wilkinson advances to mount. Erwin stops Wilkinson from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Wilkinson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Erwin is surviving well by controlling Wilkinson's body position as best he can. Erwin seems to have got his legs back now. Wilkinson working for a submission but Erwin is keeping him at bay. Erwin trying desperately to get to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Erwin is squirming around, avoiding Wilkinson's attempts to control the action. Wilkinson pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Erwin is trying desperately to improve position. Wilkinson seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Erwin is holding on tight.
Erwin is trying to stand up. Erwin is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Wilkinson locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Erwin is forced to tap!
