Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franko Islawski! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer moves out of range of the strikes. Islawski slips under a jab from Killer. Killer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Killer lands a right hook to the body.
Killer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Donk. Islawski catches Killer right on the button with a cross. Killer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Killer misses with a low kick.
Killer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Islawski misses with an uppercut
and Killer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Killer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Islawski to score with a decent uppercut. Killer throws a sloppy head kick and Islawski moves out of range easily. Killer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Islawski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Killer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Killer fires out a quick counter leg kick but Islawski just manages to avoid it. Good shot there by Islawski. Islawski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Killer, pushing him back against the cage. Killer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A short right from Killer on the inside. Islawski scores with an uppercut up the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A shot in the inside from Killer. A head punch blocked on the inside by Killer. Islawski throws a punch but it's blocked by Killer. Killer lands a hook to the side of the head. Killer blocking some punches.
Killer is stalling here.
Islawski blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Islawski lands with a right to the head. Islawski has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Killer blocks an uppercut.
Killer misses with a short punch on the inside. Islawski misses with a punch on the inside.
Islawski tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Killer blocking some punches.
Islawski tries to land knees in the clinch but Killer avoids the damage to the body. Islawski lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Killer tries to break free but Islawski pushes him back against the cage. Islawski gets through Killer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Killer lands with a light punch inside. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Islawski throws a head punch that misses. Islawski misses with some punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Islawski blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Killer breaks from the clinch.
Islawski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Islawski uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Killer has time to react.
Killer is rocked! Islawski avoids a kick to the body.
Islawski now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Oh Killer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Islawski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Killer.
BAM! Islawski delivers a spinning backfist that drops Killer like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
