Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ruud Gullit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renan Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melo has chosen Fireball - Pitbull as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Melo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Melo drops Gullit with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gullit looks back up at him and smiles so Melo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gullit circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Melo. Gullit falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Melo!
