The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cosgrave.
Cosgrave shoots for a takedown but Pettis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Pettis misses the target.
Pettis scores with a hook.
It looks like James Cosgrave has been cut.
Cosgrave takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pettis lands a left and a right that send Cosgrave crashing to the mat, dazed. Pettis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cosgrave is rocked!

Pettis fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Cosgrave square on the jaw! Damn, Cosgrave is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
