Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Beezy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmy Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timmy Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick Beezy! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beezy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones fires out a quick counter leg kick but Beezy just manages to avoid it. Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Beezy is being controlled here. Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Beezy prevents Jones from moving into mount. Beezy is being controlled here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones working away. Jones content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Beezy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beezy is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it. Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. Despite the aggression on Beezy's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Beezy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Beezy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Beezy ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A low kick from Beezy misses and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Beezy is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Beezy falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jones counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Beezy! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beezy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts. Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Beezy for as long as he can get away with. Jones seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jones content just to control the position here. Jones dominating with strikes here. Beezy tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Beezy is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Jones controlling from mount. Beezy tries to hold on but Jones postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. A low kick from Beezy is predictable there so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Beezy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Beezy looks winded! Jones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Timmy Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Beezy is trying to control the position but Jones postures up. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Timmy Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Beezy throws a poor cross that misses
and Jones counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Beezy! Beezy is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control. Jones controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beezy is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Beezy trying to remain calm as Jones controls from the top position. Jones continues to stall. Beezy tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it. Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones happy to just control the position for now. Beezy is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jones is controlling him well. Jones controlling the position. Jones scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Beezy to see if he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones scoring with punches and elbows. Jones has hold of Beezy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Beezy seems comfortable defending it but Jones has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Beezy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Beezy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jones couldn't care less - he's delighted!
