Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Ishikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Ono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanamichi Ono will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joao Ishikawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hanamichi Ono! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ono misses with a low kick. Ono goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Ono misses with a double jab.
Ono misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A nice combination there by Ono.
It looks like Joao Ishikawa has been cut. Ono lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ishikawa circles away quickly and effectively. Ono swinging wilding here.

Good shot there by Ono. Ishikawa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ono swivels and escapes. Ono swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ishikawa fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ono jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ono misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Ono does no damage. Ono throws a series of punches but Ishikawa moves out of range. Ono lands a with a good body shot. A head kick from Ono lands but Ishikawa takes it in his stride.
Joao Ishikawa's cut is getting worse. Ono fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ishikawa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ishikawa scores a takedown into full mount! Ishikawa is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ono wants to hold on but Ishikawa pushes him away. Ono tries to buck Ishikawa off but he can't manage it. Ishikawa thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Ishikawa working away from the top, dropping strikes. Ishikawa goes for an armbar but Ono turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Ono.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ishikawa keeping moving, preventing Ono from controlling successfully. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ono's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ishikawa trying to control the position.
Ono trying to control the position from guard on top but Ishikawa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ono stopping the sweep attempt from Ishikawa. Ono postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ishikawa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ono trying to control the position from guard on top but Ishikawa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ono lands a glancing blow to the side of Ishikawa's head. Nice takedown defense from Ono. No joy for Ishikawa on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joao Ishikawa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ishikawa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ono is looking to escape. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Ishikawa wants to pass the guard but Ono is defending well. Ishikawa is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Ono reverses the position - he's now on top in Ishikawa's guard. Ishikawa is looking for a triangle here but Ono uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ono slows the pace down. Ishikawa can't do much from the bottom here. Ishikawa gets back to half guard. Ono takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ishikawa trying to control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hanamichi Ono dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joao Ishikawa's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Ishikawa forces Ono back against the ropes and clinches. Ono gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ishikawa.
Ishikawa fails to pull guard.
Ono wants to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ono breaks the clinch.
Ono is breathing heavily. Ono tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ishikawa tries to clinch there but Ono circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Ishikawa or perhaps it was just good defense by Ono which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joao Ishikawa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice shot by Ono. Ono throws a right and a left that Ishikawa avoids nicely. Ishikawa looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ishikawa tries to clinch up but Ono circles away and keeps his distance. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ono.

Ono lands a nice hook to Ishikawa's body. Ishikawa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Ishikawa tries to clinch up. Ono tries to bum rush Ishikawa with a series of wild strikes but Ishikawa uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ishikawa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ono as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ono throws out a leg kick but Ishikawa moves out of range and Ono only half commits. Ishikawa moves into range and clinches up with Ono. Ishikawa gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Ishikawa forces his way into half guard. Ishikawa seems to be working for a kimura but Ono defends the submission attempt. Ishikawa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ono does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ono makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ono. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ishikawa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ono swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ishikawa with a flurry of punches that miss. Ishikawa trying to control the position from guard on top but Ono is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ishikawa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ono is keeping the position for now. Ono really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ishikawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ono controlling the position. Ono is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ishikawa drops back looking for a leg! Ono is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ono manages to kick Ishikawa off! Ishikawa jumps back into Ono's guard. Ono keeping full guard, as Ishikawa tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ono lands a jab-cross combination. Ishikawa looks for a takedown but Ono sprawls well. Ishikawa gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ono creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ishikawa's defenses. Ono breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ishikawa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ono as he jumps to the side. Ishikawa drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Joao Ishikawa will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Joao Ishikawa's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Ono jabs at Ishikawa's body. Ono throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ono lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ishikawa backs up against the ropes.
Ishikawa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ono prevents Ishikawa from moving into mount. Ono tries to bench press Ishikawa off him but Ishikawa keeps the position. Ono prevents Ishikawa from improving position. Ishikawa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ishikawa trying to control the action but Ono is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ono struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ishikawa has an Americana. Ono didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ishikawa is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ishikawa hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
