Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Tinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tinto comes to the cage accompanied by Shell Shocked. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Tinto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Sharpe! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharpe misses with a left hand and Tinto counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sharpe won't be happy with that. Sharpe is looking to regain half guard here but Tinto keeps moving and retains side control. Tinto controlling the position from side mount. Sharpe is trying to get back to half guard. Tinto is staying tight to Sharpe's torso, preventing him from escaping. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sharpe is trying to get back to half guard. Tinto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sharpe felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Sharpe is trying to control Tinto's posture but Tinto avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tinto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sharpe is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sharpe gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tinto sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sharpe defending well though. Tinto controlling the pace. Tinto is working for a kimura but Sharpe is defending it quite comfortably.
Sharpe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tinto in particular looking to stall. Sharpe wants to get back to full guard. Tinto seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Sharpe moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tinto is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tinto controlling from the top position. Sharpe throws his legs up looking for a submission but Tinto uses it to pass to side control.
Sharpe regains half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tinto is pressing down on Sharpe's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sharpe is holding on for now. Tinto perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Tinto dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

As Sharpe tries to get set, Tinto tries to push him back and clinch up but Sharpe manages to avoid the attempt. The fighters circle momentarily. Sharpe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Sharpe misses the shot to the body. Sharpe ducks under a wild hook from Tinto. Sharpe let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Sharpe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tinto.
Tinto attempts a counter takedown but Sharpe avoids it well and moves away. Sharpe misses with a right hand and Tinto counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tinto is looking for a kimura here.
Tinto keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tinto seems to be working for a kimura but Sharpe defends the submission attempt. Tinto is looking for a kimura but Sharpe is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tinto to get the leverage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tinto looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Tinto prevents Sharpe from improving his position. Tinto is taking a breather. Sharpe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sharpe trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Tinto manages to pass to mount!
Tinto is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sharpe is surviving well by controlling Tinto's body position as best he can. Tinto is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sharpe can do to turn this around? Tinto takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tinto pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Tinto looking for a guillotine from mount but Sharpe is having none of it. Tinto controlling from the full mount. Sharpe is trying to reverse the position but instead Tinto has taken his back - oops! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sharpe wants to escape the position.
Tinto has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Sharpe is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Tinto.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sharpe turns into Tinto and is now in his guard.
Tinto seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Tinto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sharpe is aware though and is defending well. Tinto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sharpe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sharpe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sharpe pushing down on Tinto's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Tinto looking for submissions off his back. Tinto gets back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Tinto's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Tinto manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Tinto looking for submissions off his back. Sharpe is working for a submission of some sort.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sharpe tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tinto knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tinto looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Sharpe pushes past his half guard into mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Tinto dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Sharpe takes a swing at Tinto's ribcage but misses. Tinto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A jab from Sharpe does it's job there. Marcus Sharpe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sharpe swings away with a body shot that misses
and Tinto counters with a takedown into side control. Sharpe manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tinto's best efforts. Tinto passes the guard and advances to mount! Tinto tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Tinto pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tinto is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sharpe to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sharpe shrugs it off. Sharpe regains half guard. Tinto passes the guard and advances to mount! Tinto takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sharpe is in all sorts of trouble here.
Marcus Sharpe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Daniel Tinto is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Tinto showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tinto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
