Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Suke Bono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andres Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montoya has chosen Eminem - Till i Collapse as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Suke Bono! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andres Montoya! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bono misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bono moves in looking to clinch but Montoya pushes him off. Nice sprawl there from Montoya as Bono shoots in. Montoya darts in trying to clinch and Bono counters with a shoot takedown. Montoya fights it but they end up in guard. Bono trying to control but Montoya is working from the bottom. Montoya wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Montoya wants to stand up but Bono is controlling him. Bono stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Montoya swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bono drops back looking for a leg! Montoya is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Montoya manages to kick Bono off! Bono jumps back into Montoya's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bono controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bono gets to his feet. Montoya looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bono fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suke Bono. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bono swings for the body but Montoya moves out of range.
Montoya moves in looking to clinch but Bono pushes him off. A combination from Bono does no damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bono wants to clinch but Montoya slips to the side and Montoya counters by moving into the clinch. Bono has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Montoya is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bono is breathing heavily. Montoya manages to break the clinch.
Bono misses with a takedown attempt and Montoya counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Montoya closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Montoya breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Montoya is looking to clinch but Bono is avoiding it.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Montoya. Stalling in the clinch from Montoya.
Montoya is pressed up against the cage. Bono has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Montoya down to the mat. Montoya avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Montoya clinches up with Bono and pushes him back against the cage. Montoya gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Montoya decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Bono avoids the head kick by Montoya.
Montoya has managed to clinch.
Bono pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Montoya misses with a double jab.
Bono shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Montoya cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Montoya has managed to clinch.
Montoya breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Montoya closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montoya has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bono scores with a spinning back kick! Bono circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bono tries a head kick but it misses.
Bono shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Montoya counters with a stiff right hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Montoya moves into range and clinches up with Bono. Montoya will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bono up against the cage. Montoya lands a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andres Montoya dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Montoya throws a leg kick which misses Bono's front leg but catches the back leg as Bono tries to avoid it. Montoya sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Bono tries to clinch and Montoya counters with a thumping low kick. Bono fails with the takedown and Montoya decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bono's guard. Bono not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Montoya stands and steps away. Bono gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bono looks for a takedown but Montoya sprawls well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Montoya lands with a thumping leg kick.
Montoya throws a sloppy head kick and Bono moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bono doesn't succeed with the takedown and Montoya counters by moving into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suke Bono. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bono tries to pull guard but Montoya holds him up against the cage and eventually Bono drops back down to his feet.

Montoya pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bono clinches but Montoya breaks the clinch and Montoya counters with a low kick, right behind Bono 's knee. Montoya throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bono counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bono shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Montoya counters with a one-two to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montoya misses with a two punch combination.
Bono tries for a takedown but Montoya circles away easily and Montoya counters by clinching up. Bono wants to break free but Montoya has control.
Montoya escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice takedown defense from Montoya. No joy for Bono on that attempt. Bono fails with the takedown and Montoya counters by clinching up. Montoya displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bono up against the cage. Bono is trying to drag Montoya to the mat but Montoya just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya has Bono pressed against the cage.
Bono escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bono with a lazy takedown attempt and Montoya counters with a solid body kick. Montoya throws a right and a left that Bono avoids nicely. Bono shoots and misses and Montoya counters with a good low kick that Bono was not able to check. Bono tries to clinch but fails miserably and Montoya counters with a three punch combo that has Bono backing up. Bono nods at Montoya to acknowledge the strikes. Montoya moves in looking to clinch but Bono pushes him off. Montoya feints and then cracks Bono's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bono down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bono takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Bono pushes Montoya up against the cage in a clinch. Montoya lands with a short shot to the head. Montoya manages to break the clinch.

A punch combination from Montoya misses. Montoya misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bono tries to clinch but Montoya moves away and Montoya counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bono won't be happy with that. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Montoya decides to take the fight back to the feet. Bono darts in and clinches Montoya up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andres Montoya showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Bono keeps the fight on the outside. Suke Bono seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bono throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Montoya's waist but Montoya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bono off to one side. Nice takedown defense from Montoya. No joy for Bono on that attempt. Montoya gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bono tries to stall but Montoya uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Montoya pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bono swings for the body but Montoya moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bono shoots in and drives through. Montoya sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suke Bono. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Montoya will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bono with a poor takedown and Montoya counters with a stiff right hand. Montoya clinches up with Bono and pushes him back against the cage. Montoya manages to break the clinch.
Montoya throws a right and a left that both miss. Bono staying out of range there. Bono tries to clinch but Montoya moves away and Montoya counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bono throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bono misses with a takedown attempt - Montoya sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Montoya scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Montoya throws a right hand that Bono ducks under and follows up with a left that Bono also avoids with ease. Bono shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Montoya counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Montoya tries to clinch but Bono moves out of range. Bono throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bono has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Montoya closes the distance and clinches. Montoya changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bono fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bono. Montoya sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Montoya missing with punches from the bottom.
Bono is looking to advance position but Montoya won't allow it. Montoya is refusing to be controlled, as Bono sits in half guard. Bono is really struggling to control Montoya but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montoya kicks Bono off and gets back to his feet. Both fighters circling a little - Bono finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Montoya connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bono momentarily.

and Montoya moves into the clinch. Montoya can't break the clinch.
Bono prevents a body shot from Montoya. Bono pulls Montoya into guard.
Montoya gets to his feet. Bono looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bono gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Montoya moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Andres Montoya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Montoya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
