Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monroe Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Monroe Willis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyler Jackson! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackson sprawls well. Jackson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Willis gets slowly back to his feet. Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Jackson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jackson showed some decent athleticism there. Willis tries to roll over but Jackson keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willis strikes from the bottom but Jackson passes into mount!
Jackson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jackson prevents Willis from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis is working hard here to advance position. Jackson stands up from mount. Strange move. Willis fails with a takedown attempt. Tyler Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson gets the takedown into side control. Jackson slows the pace down. Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's Willis get back to his feet. Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.

Willis lands a jab to Jackson's midsection. Jackson instigates a clinch. Willis tries to circle away but Jackson has him pinned against the cage. Willis has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment. Willis is trying to maintain a safe position but Jackson gets an underhook and turns Willis into the cage. Willis is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Jackson looking to slow down the pace here. Jackson keeps control of Willis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jackson working hard to break the clinch. That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Willis manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Willis shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Willis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monroe Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Willis stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Willis tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Jackson pushes Willis up against the cage in a clinch. Willis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jackson has managed to clinch.
Willis has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment. Willis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Willis fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jackson tries to counter with a clinch but Willis shakes him off and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Willis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively. Willis closes the distance and lands a one-two. Jackson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Willis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Willis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Willis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Willis keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tyler Jackson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. As Willis backs off Jackson throws a huge counter combo but Willis manages to avoid it all. Jackson has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Willis shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Willis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Jackson is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willis gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jackson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Willis's head. Jackson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Willis throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Willis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jackson looking to pass the guard. Jackson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Willis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Willis has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jackson has passed into side control.
Willis can't do much from the bottom here. Willis is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Willis is looking for a sweep. Willis is trying to control Jackson's posture but Jackson avoids it. Jackson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Willis is trying to escape the position but Jackson is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jackson controls the position. Willis is trying to improve his position. Jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Willis tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Willis is being controlled here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Willis keeps working. Willis managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jackson.
Willis is looking for a sweep. Jackson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Willis, who protects the arm well. Willis tries to get back to half guard but can't. Willis gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Willis is trying to stand up here but Jackson is controlling him well. Jackson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Jackson slows the pace down in half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Jackson seems to be working for a kimura but Willis defends the submission attempt. Willis is pressing down on Jackson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Willis throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Willis wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling him.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard. Willis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Jackson controlling the action here for a moment.
Willis is looking to take this one to the mat. Jackson keeps control of Willis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jackson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Willis regains guard immediately.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Willis is on top in guard.
Jackson is looking to stand up but Willis isn't so interested in that idea. Jackson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Willis has passed into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action! You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Monroe Willis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tyler Jackson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson is looking to reverse the position.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Monroe Willis. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
