Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vern Shillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riaan Geingob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geingob comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nas - Got Yourself a Gun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shillinger.
Geingob connects with a jab.

It looks like Vern Shillinger has been cut.
Geingob throws a big shot that misses.
Shillinger closes this distance looking for a takedown but Geingob circles away.
Shillinger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Geingob but Geingob pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vern Shillinger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shillinger takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Geingob lands a big uppercut and Shillinger crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shillinger looks OK. Geingob waves Shillinger back to his feet!

Geingob throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oh Shillinger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Geingob throws a shot from downtown. Shillinger moves away and avoids it.
Geingob misses with a straight right.
Shillinger uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Geingob.
Geingob misses with a looping left.
Shillinger closes this distance looking for a takedown but Geingob circles away.
