Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jola Kaalipaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Brice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaalipaa comes to the cage accompanied by Darude / Sandstorm. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jola Kaalipaa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Brice! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaalipaa tries to keep at a distance but Brice has taken the fight into the clinch. Brice jumps guard and drags Kaalipaa to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brice is trying to keep Kaalipaa in close.
Kaalipaa is pushing down on Brice's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brice is fighting to maintain full guard but Kaalipaa has managed to sneak the leg through. Brice is staying active underneath Kaalipaa, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Brice avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kaalipaa. Brice wants to control but Kaalipaa is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaalipaa has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Brice works to full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brice can do anything to dispel that myth. Brice can't keep his opponent in guard - Kaalipaa advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kaalipaa is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brice has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaalipaa wants to work for an arm triangle but Brice is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kaalipaa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Brice trying to control from the bottom.
Brice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kaalipaa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kaalipaa stops Brice from getting back to his feet.
Kaalipaa wants to stand but Brice has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Brice manages to get to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaalipaa trying to control the position from guard on top but Brice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brice doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Kaalipaa trying to control but Brice is working from the bottom. Kaalipaa slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brice is looking to regain half guard here but Kaalipaa keeps moving and retains side control. Kaalipaa cracks Brice with a big elbow. Kaalipaa in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Brice is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
