And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ground Pounder!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pounder looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Boyle!

Pounder has hold of Boyle's hands but Boyle slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Boyle is taking a breather. Pounder says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nice sprawl there from Boyle as Pounder shoots in.
Pounder shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boyle pinned against the cage. Boyle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Boyle cracks a nice hook into Pounder's ribs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Boyle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

so Boyle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Frankie Boyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ground Pounder.

Boyle has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Boyle throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Boyle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Boyle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pounder looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

You can see the frustration on Pounder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pounder is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Boyle is staying active.

Pounder just trying to survive but Boyle is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Boyle lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Pounder hold on?!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Frankie Boyle showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Boyle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
