Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sven Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huppu Pelikaani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson tries to move into range but Pelikaani moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Pelikaani uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pelikaani lands the left hand.
Svensson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pelikaani swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Svensson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Svensson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pelikaani defends well.
Svensson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Pelikaani won't allow Svensson to sweep him here.

Svensson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Pelikaani got a little sloppy there for a moment and Svensson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pelikaani has managed to get both his arms back between Svensson's legs - danger averted.

Svensson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pelikaani doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pelikaani manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Svensson controls Pelikaani momentarily but Pelikaani frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Svensson has his foot on Pelikaani's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pelikaani works his way back into a safe position though.
Svensson wants to sweep here but Pelikaani controlling him for the moment.
Svensson pulls Pelikaani in close to his closed guard and prevents Pelikaani from doing any damage or advancing position.

Svensson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pelikaani defends it easily.

Pelikaani avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Svensson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Svensson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Pelikaani doesn't defend quickly enough and Svensson has managed to lock this one up! Can Pelikaani escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Svensson on a fantastic submission victory.
