Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avery Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Felton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Avery Redman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Felton! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felton gets the takedown into side control. Redman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Felton controls the position. Felton is looking to take a break and control but Redman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Felton scoring with punches from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Redman's face as Felton controls the position. Felton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Felton fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Felton clinches. Redman wants to break the clinch but can't.
Felton works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Felton is in close to Redman's body, working some short punches and elbows. Felton wants to control from the top but Redman keeps moving. Felton postures up in Redman's guard and throws a big left but Redman blocks it. Felton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Redman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Felton stays in close to Redman's body and controls the position. Felton landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Felton works over Redman with some ground and pound from guard. Felton won't allow Redman to sweep him here. Felton lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Felton stands and throws Redman's legs to the side, diving into side control. Redman is trying to control Felton's posture but Felton avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Felton stands up. Felton moves into the clinch successfully.
Felton slowing the pace effectively. Felton lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Redman is not content to let Felton control the position. Felton controlling the pace. Redman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Felton is tying to control. Redman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Felton is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Redman sees it coming and defends easily. Well, if Felton is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Despite being in the dominant position, Brett Felton just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Felton drives through and clinches with Redman against the cage.
Felton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Redman uses from the top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Felton tries to strike from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Felton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Redman, pushing him back against the cage. Felton breaks from the clinch.
Felton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Felton scoring with strikes to the body and head. Felton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Felton sitting and controlling from the half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Redman won't allow Felton to pass to mount. Felton controlling the action here. Felton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Redman wants to control but Felton is keeping busy.
Felton lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Felton lands with a punch from half guard. Felton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Felton stands up from half guard. Felton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Felton lands a nice short elbow. Felton content to control rather than advance. Felton is thwarting Redman's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Felton controlling the action here. Felton working Redman over with strikes. Redman tries to roll over but Felton keeps him under control. Felton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Redman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brett Felton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Felton throws a half hearted mid kick. Horrible takedown by Felton or perhaps it was just good defense by Redman which made him look bad. Felton keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Redman misses with a takedown and Felton counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Felton. Felton manages to pull guard.
Redman throws and elbow that misses. Felton uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Redman's guard. Nice move by Felton! Felton wants to control from the top but Redman keeps moving. Felton slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brett Felton has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Redman keeping moving, preventing Felton from controlling successfully.

Felton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Redman's guard. Felton pushes down on Redman's leg and manages to get into half guard. Felton controlling the pace. Felton is nestled in close to Redman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Felton gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Felton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Felton. Felton stands up and we're back to a striking position. Redman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Felton.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Felton takes the fight into the clinch. Felton prevents Redman from breaking the clinch. Felton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Redman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Felton keeps the fight on the outside. A combination from Felton does no damage. Felton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Redman is trying to get back to half guard. Felton lands a few punches from side control. Felton has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Felton controlling from the full mount. Felton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Redman is looking to escape. Felton looking to control and managing it successfully. Felton pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Brett Felton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Felton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
