The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cook looks for a takedown but Ortega sprawls well.
Ortega looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Ortega wants to clinch up but cook keeps it at a distance.
cook shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ortega but Ortega pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ortega looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
cook ducks under a wild hook from Ortega.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ortega.
Ortega passes to full mount! That's big trouble for cook!
Feeble punches landing from cook - he's mounted - they can't hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ortega has hold of cook's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and cook manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

cook swats away the attempt to clinch by Ortega.

and Ortega counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in cook's guard now.

cook is trying to stand up here but Ortega is controlling him well.

Ortega is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! cook is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
