The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bode takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bode jabs Johnstone right on the nose. Johnstone blinks but takes it well.
Johnstone lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A jab from Johnstone finds it's way through Bode's defenses.
Bode throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Johnstone goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Johnstone stalling in the clinch but Bode improves position.
Bode leaning against his opponent.
Johnstone is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Bode has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bode prevents a body shot from Johnstone.

Johnstone throws a punch but it's blocked by Bode.

Johnstone tries to throw a body punch but Bode avoids it by throwing Johnstone back against the cage.

Johnstone lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Johnstone presses Bode against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Bode tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Johnstone's elbow.

Bode misses with the head strike.
Johnstone breaks the clinch.

Johnstone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lucas Johnstone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A slow jab from Bode misses its intended target.
Bode misses with a shot to the body
and Johnstone counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bode throws a right and a left that Johnstone avoids nicely.

Johnstone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bode is breathing heavily.
Bode tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnstone paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bode looks to clinch
and Johnstone counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bode looks to throw the jab but Johnstone is out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Johnstone.
Johnstone throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bode.
Johnstone moves into range and clinches up with Bode.
Johnstone misses with a knee to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Johnstone.
Johnstone lands with a right to the head.
Bode is rocked!

Oh Bode is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnstone creates a bit of distance and cracks Bode with a big uppercut! Bode goes down! The referee pushes Johnstone away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Bode make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Johnstone takes it!
