Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harald Hillgrund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raf Camora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Camora has chosen Eskimo Brothers-Joe Lajoie as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Camora.
It looks like Harald Hillgrund has been cut.
Hillgrund looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Camora makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

and Hillgrund counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Camora misses with a looping left.
Hillgrund takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hillgrund shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Camora manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hillgrund keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Camora turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Camora manages to end up in side control.
A lull in the action here as Camora stalls from top position.
Camora cracks Hillgrund with a big right hand but Hillgrund just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hillgrund is trying to escape the position but Camora is controlling the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
It looks like Camora might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Hillgrund tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Camora is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hillgrund's shoulder. That is not cool.
Camora wants to control for a moment but Hillgrund uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Camora connects with a nice short shot to Hillgrund's temple.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Camora is looking to take a break and control but Hillgrund is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
My spies in Prestige MMA Acadamy inform me that Camora has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Camora fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hillgrund avoids it really well and circles away.

and Hillgrund decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Camora's guard.
Hillgrund wants to control from the top but Camora keeps moving.
Camora seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hillgrund stands and steps away. Camora gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Camora just misses with a punch to the body.
Hillgrund changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Camora tries to avoid it but Hillgrund manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Camora to the ground. Camora escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Camora rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hillgrund moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Camora has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Raf Camora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Hillgrund makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Hillgrund lands a slapping body shot.
Hillgrund fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Camora is out of range.
Camora raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Camora shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hillgrund tries to score a power double leg takedown but Camora sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hillgrund somewhat.

Camora lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Camora lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Hillgrund looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Camora will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Camora enables Hillgrund to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Camora manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Harald Hillgrund will probably get the nod.

As Hillgrund backs off Camora throws a huge counter combo but Hillgrund manages to avoid it all.

Camora lunges at Hillgrund with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hillgrund's hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Camora, as that shot connected.

Camora ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hillgrund moves away.

Camora is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Camora is trying to stand.
Camora has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hillgrund is on him like a limpet, forcing Camora back against the cage.
Camora blocks a body shot from Hillgrund.
Camora has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hillgrund after a bit of a struggle.
Harald Hillgrund has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raf Camora.
Hillgrund gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Camora.
Camora is trying to push Hillgrund away but Hillgrund has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hillgrund tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Camora goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hillgrund prevents it.

I would just about give that final round to Raf Camora.

Harald Hillgrund was interviewed post fight and said 'This is a setback, but I will bounce back from it. my eyes are still set on that title, I'll get there, you'll see!'.
