Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn has chosen Come Out and Fight! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Powers has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Quinn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Powers.
Powers is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kenny Powers.
Well Powers has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
