Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beezy James! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James is looking to clinch but Morgan is avoiding it.
Morgan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and James connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Morgan scrambles back to his feet. James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Morgan appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Morgan misses with a hook. Good leg kick by James there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Morgan swings for the body but James moves out of range.
James throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease. James throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Morgan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morgan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Beezy James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James looks to land a body kick but Morgan moved away. Morgan misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. James thows a body kick. Morgan tries to catch it but that hurt him. James looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. James shoots in looking for a takedown but Morgan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing James's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Morgan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from James.
Morgan misses with a straight right. A big left from Morgan misses. James throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease. Morgan misses with a hook. James ducked under it nicely. Morgan drops James with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but James looks back up at him and smiles so Morgan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Beezy James has been cut. James looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. James pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but James manages to avoid it. Morgan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. James sees it coming and avoids it easily. Morgan throws a jab when James was well out of range. James moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. James fails with a takedown attempt. James throws a sloppy head kick and Morgan moves out of range easily. James misses with a series of wild punches.
Morgan misses the shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Morgan throws a jab but it's blocked by James. Jack Morgan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. James misses with a takedown and Morgan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jack Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beezy James. James keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Morgan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away. Despite the aggression on James's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. The fight moves into the clinch position. James tries to pull guard but Morgan won't allow it.
Morgan scores with an uppercut up the middle. Morgan scores with a hook to the body. Morgan can't find room to land a body shot as James controls the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A body shot lands from Morgan.
Morgan digs a right hand into James's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on James's gas tank. Morgan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with James's elbow. Morgan gets through James's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A hook to the body from Morgan.
Morgan lands a nice shot to the body. Morgan has a couple of punches blocked by James.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A shot in the inside from Morgan. James blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Morgan lands with a light punch inside. Morgan lands a right hand that snaps the head of James backwards. Morgan scores with an uppercut up the middle. Morgan lands an uppercut. James's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
James is rocked! A short right from Morgan. James is still on wobbly legs! Can Morgan finish him? Morgan loads up on a right hand - it lands flush and knocks James senseless! What a punch!
