Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Homer Jaysimpson!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaysimpson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bugaev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bugaev throws a punch but it's blocked by Jaysimpson.

Bugaev is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jaysimpson can't fight it off and eventually Bugaev manages to take the fight to the floor. Jaysimpson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bugaev throws an elbow that misses. Jaysimpson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bugaev's guard. Nice move by Jaysimpson!

Jaysimpson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bugaev swivels though and keeps the full guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jaysimpson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Bugaev misses with the combination.
Jaysimpson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Jaysimpson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bugaev manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It looked like Bugaev was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jaysimpson.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Bugaev drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bugaev throws a strike aimed at the side of Jaysimpson's head but Jaysimpson avoids it well.
Bugaev is looking to take a break and control but Jaysimpson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Jaysimpson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bugaev postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bugaev throws a strike aimed at the side of Jaysimpson's head but Jaysimpson avoids it well.

Bugaev makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Bugaev throws a strike but Jaysimpson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jaysimpson postures up in Bugaev's guard and throws a big left but Bugaev blocks it.
Bugaev looking for a sweep. Not yet Bugaev, not yet.
Bugaev looking for a triangle here. Jaysimpson is fighting it but it looks tight! Bugaev pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Jaysimpson is tapping out - this one is all over!
