Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Mashur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Ducan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Mashur looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ducan instigates a clinch.
Ducan is working Mashur over against the cage.
Ducan pressing his opponent against the cage.
Mashur prevents the takedown attempt.
Mashur jumps guard but Ducan stands there with Mashur around his waist. Mashur gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ducan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mashur regains guard immediately.
Ducan looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Mashur working for a triangle but Ducan defends it easily.
Ducan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Mashur is looking to stand up but Ducan isn't so interested in that idea.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mashur tries for a takedown but Ducan circles away easily
and Ducan counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ducan wants the takedown. Mashur is fighting it off but Ducan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mashur's guard against the cage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Ducan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mashur won't be happy with that.

Ducan is looking to take a break and control but Mashur is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ducan throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Mashur works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Mashur tries to roll over but Ducan keeps him under control.
Mashur is trying to control but can't.

Ducan moves nicely into side control.
Ducan controls the position from side control.
You can see the frustration on Mashur's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mashur tries to buck Ducan off but Ducan is having none of it.
Ducan in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Elijah Ducan has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mashur tries to improve position but can't.
Mashur gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Mashur works his way to full guard. Good work.
Mashur wants to stand and escape but Ducan is having none of it.
Ducan is pushing down on Mashur's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mashur is fighting to maintain full guard but Ducan has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ducan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mashur defending well though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elijah Ducan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Mashur throws a sloppy head kick and Ducan moves out of range easily.
Mashur fails with the takedown
and Ducan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mashur!
Ducan lands a big elbow.
Ducan controlling from mount.
Ducan stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ducan decides to stand back up. Ducan steps back and let's Mashur get back to his feet.

Nice takedown defense from Mashur. No joy for Ducan on that attempt.
Mashur fails with the takedown.
Ducan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ducan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mashur is working an open guard so Ducan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mashur wants to clinch but Ducan slips to the side
and Ducan counters by moving into the clinch.
Ducan keeps control of Mashur as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ducan manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ducan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mashur regains guard immediately.

Ducan trying to control the position from guard on top but Mashur is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ducan has gone for a leg lock! Mashur slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ducan's guard.
Mashur wants to control from the top but Ducan keeps moving.
Ducan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mashur is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ducan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mashur's back instead.

Mashur breaks Ducan's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Mashur wants to control from the top but Ducan keeps moving.
Ducan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mashur!
Mashur takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ducan misses with some ground and pound and Mashur recovers position to half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mashur wants to hit a switch here but Ducan passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mashur there!

Elijah Ducan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ducan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
