Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giuseppe Whitehead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Sten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Will Sten enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Sten escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Whitehead gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Whitehead gets to his feet. Sten looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Whitehead really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Whitehead clinches up with Sten and pushes him back against the cage.

Sten is looking to take a break and control but Whitehead is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sten scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Whitehead to see if he's OK.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Sten might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Whitehead haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Sten thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Sten tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sten has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sten lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Whitehead down.

Sten is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Whitehead knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Whitehead pushes Sten away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sten gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sten is working to tighten his grip on Whitehead's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Whitehead has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sten is really squeezing tight and eventually Whitehead passes out! Sten breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
