Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pookie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Hyypia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jackson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ride The Train. Hyypia has chosen Al Bowlly - Hang out the stars in Indiana as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson slips under a jab.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice side step and Hyypia releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Jackson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hyypia counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hyypia lands a big head kick that sends Jackson tumbling to the mat! Hyypia takes a step backwards and waves Jackson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Pookie Jackson has been cut.

enabling Hyypia to counter with a crisp jab.

Hyypia lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Jackson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hyypia's sensitive parts.
Hyypia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Hyypia takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Hyypia circles away.

Hyypia tries a head kick but it misses.

and Hyypia counters with a huge left! Jackson is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hyypia isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Jackson from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hyypia!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sami Hyypia!
Sami Hyypia spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
