The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFontier pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Good work by LaFontier as he checks the leg kick.
Jones tests LaFontier's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nice sprawl there from Jones as LaFontier shoots in.
LaFontier misses with an uppercut.
LaFontier tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jones throws a front kick aimed at LaFontier's knee but LaFontier avoids it well.
Jones has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as LaFontier is landing a low percentage of strikes.
LaFontier closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. LaFontier pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
LaFontier sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Jones pounces like a tiger and cracks LaFontier with a vicious hook! LaFontier is down but not out! Jones follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
