The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atkins avoids the head kick by Sweet.
Atkins tries to counter with a clinch but Sweet shakes him off and moves away.

and Sweet counters with a left and a right that stings Atkins.
Sweet wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Atkins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Horrible takedown attempt by Atkins or perhaps it was just good defense by Sweet, which made it look bad.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Sweet stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sweet wants it to stay on the feet.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Atkins gets tackled into the cage by Sweet. Sweet maintains the clinch.

Atkins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sweet wants to clinch up but Atkins keeps it at a distance.
Atkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sweet swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Atkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Sweet tries to sprawl out of it but Atkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sweet manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Atkins shoots in and drives through. Sweet sprawls well.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sweet enables Atkins to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sweet manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Atkins looks to land a combination but Sweet avoids it well.
Sweet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Atkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Atkins is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Atkins on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Sweet looks up at the clock and then as Atkins takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sweet smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Atkins is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Sweet is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Atkins has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sweet is putting a hurting on Atkins here, landing some big shots from side control.
Atkins takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Sweet is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Atkins can do to turn this around?
Atkins takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sweet works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Atkins is rocked!
Atkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sweet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Atkins is looking for a sweep.

Sweet connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Atkins some visible discomfort.
Sweet scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Atkins to see if he's OK.
