Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royal Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Meyer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Royal Walsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Meyer! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyer is looking to chop away at Walsh's legs. Josh Meyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meyer misses with a hook. Walsh ducked under it nicely. Meyer throws a shot from downtown. Walsh moves away and avoids it. A solid body kick from Meyer. Meyer scores with a kick to the midsection. Meyer scores with a spinning back kick! Meyer thumps Walsh with a low kick. Meyer thows a left - swing and a miss! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Meyer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Meyer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Walsh avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Walsh shoots for a double leg takedown but Meyer sprawls well. He's pushed Walsh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Meyer was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Meyer looks for the body kick but Walsh saw that one coming. Walsh is looking for a counter combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh ducks right into an uppercut from Meyer.
It looks like Royal Walsh has been cut. Walsh walks forward, straight into a front kick from Meyer. A swing and a miss from Meyer. Meyer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Meyer tries a head kick but it misses.
Meyer scores with a nice right hand.
A chopping leg kick lands by Meyer. Walsh really is a fat lump. Nice body kick there by Meyer. Walsh is breathing heavily. Meyer lands with a straight right. Walsh didn't see that one coming. Josh Meyer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Meyer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Meyer misses with a head kick.
Meyer connects with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walsh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Meyer. Walsh went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Meyer throws a head kick but Walsh moves out of range.
Walsh appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Walsh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Meyer can pounce on him.
Meyer pushes Walsh away with a front kick. Meyer scores with a kick to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Meyer. Meyer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Walsh momentarily.
Meyer misses the jab. Meyer thows a left - swing and a miss! Meyer throws a head kick that misses. Meyer scores with a nice body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Meyer. That's going to slow Walsh down. Meyer scores with a leg kick.
Meyer throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Meyer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Meyer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Walsh. An inside leg kick lands from Meyer. Walsh walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Walsh is rocked! Both fighters circling a little - Meyer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Oh Walsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Walsh drops his hands momentarily and Meyer needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Walsh just on the top of the head. Walsh drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Walsh - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Josh Meyer!
