Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Look at me now. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mario Jones! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Miller moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Miller moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Miller shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard. Miller postures up.
Jones trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Jones throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Miller lands a couple of digs. Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Miller is proving a slippery customer.
Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Miller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jones throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Miller engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Miller distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Jones tries to strike from the bottom.
Jones wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment. We've been hearing that Miller has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Miller postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Miller stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Miller distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Miller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller is breathing heavily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Miller stands up from Jones's guard - Miller perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nice jab there from Jones. Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mario Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Miller's hands. Jones jabs Miller to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jones throws a leg kick which misses Miller's front leg but catches the back leg as Miller tries to avoid it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Miller takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jones throws a shot to the body.

Mario Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones connects with a crisp jab. Jones lands a jab to Miller's midsection. Jones lands with an overhand left. Jones scores with a hook to the body. Miller takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jones lands a nice looking body shot.

Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That kick from Jones tenderised Miller's leg. Miller is trying to keep his angry face on. Miller tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Jones feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down. Jones scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Miller is rocked! Jones cracks Miller with a good jab. Oh Miller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones lands a jab to the head.
Jones throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Miller stumbling backwards into the cage! Miller bounces back off the cage towards Jones, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Jones lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Jones celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mario Jones! Mario Jones was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
