The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Fredrickson. No joy for Lynn on that attempt.
Fredrickson feinted with a counter takedown.
Fredrickson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fredrickson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Lynn lands with a thumping leg kick.

Lynn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Russell Lynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fredrickson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Fredrickson is looking to wear down Lynn with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fredrickson misses with a takedown attempt - Lynn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
