Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ken DeWhitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mondo Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davidson has chosen The Sounds-Beat Box as his entrance music. Mondo Davidson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeWhitt wants to clinch up but Davidson keeps it at a distance.
Ken DeWhitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

DeWhitt misses with a takedown attempt - Davidson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

DeWhitt is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Davidson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Davidson's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DeWhitt is striking from the bottom but Davidson uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

DeWhitt can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Davidson controls the pace.

Mondo Davidson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Davidson has DeWhitt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. DeWhitt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
