Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lar Hadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bird comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wasted - Gucci Mane kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lar Hadden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Bird! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bird tries to clinch but Hadden moves out of range. Bird gets a clinch. Hadden pulls guard successfully.
Hadden looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hadden has a closed guard, preventing Bird from standing up. Bird trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hadden trying to control the position.
Hadden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bird stopping the sweep attempt from Hadden. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hadden working a defensive guard here.
Bird won't allow Hadden to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hadden takes a swing at Bird's ribcage but misses. Bird scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hadden wants to control but Bird postures up. Bird stands up. Hadden closes the distance and clinches. Hadden is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bird pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hadden turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Hadden tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hadden has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hadden could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bird can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hadden tries to score with some ground and pound. Bird controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Bird is trying to improve his position. Hadden advances to mount. Bird tries to hold on but Hadden pushes him away. Hadden gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bird darts in trying to clinch and Hadden counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bird's guard now. Bird looks gassed! Hadden wants to pass the guard but Bird is keeping the position. Hadden has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bird is proving hard to escape from. Bird is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hadden slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hadden postures up and lands a big shot to Bird's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hadden stands up from guard. Let's bang! Bird misses with a takedown attempt and Hadden counters with a takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hadden is looking to take a break and control but Bird is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hadden looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hadden wants to control but Bird is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lar Hadden dominated that round. That's time! Hadden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bird gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hadden wants to break free but Bird has control.

Bird lands a nice knee to the body. Hadden ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hadden no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Bird won't allow Hadden to get back to his feet. Lar Hadden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hadden being controlled here, momentarily. Hadden trying to keep a closed guard but Bird is proving a slippery customer.
Bird is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bird must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bird trying to control the position from guard on top but Hadden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bird tries to free his leg and advance position but Hadden is retaining full guard. Hadden wants to stand but Bird is controlling the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hadden misses with a body kick. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hadden here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Hadden decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bird is refusing to be controlled, as Hadden sits in half guard. Hadden thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hadden is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! BOOM! Hadden connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hadden can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bird is looking to escape. Hadden pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hadden lands a big elbow. Hadden with a couple of short strikes. Bird regains half guard. Hadden wants to take a breather but Bird is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hadden is working for a kimura but Bird is defending it quite comfortably.

Hadden is nestled in close to Bird, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hadden lands strikes from half guard. Hadden wants to work for an arm triangle but Bird is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lar Hadden dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hadden fails with the takedown and Bird counters with a big head kick but Hadden shrugs it off. Hadden lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lar Hadden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hadden misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bird shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hadden as he avoids it easily. Bird misses with a takedown and Hadden counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hadden postures up.
Hadden connects with a couple of short punches. Bird takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hadden controls from within his opponent's guard. Hadden forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hadden seems to be looking for submissions.
Hadden trying to control from half guard but Bird is working away. Hadden scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Hadden performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hadden wants to free his trapped foot but Bird is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bird is trying to control but can't.

Hadden advances nicely into full mount. Hadden lands a heavy elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hadden tries to control but Bird wriggling away. Bird takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hadden dominating with strikes here. Bird is squirming around, avoiding Hadden's attempts to control the action. Hadden controlling his opponent. Bird looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hadden landing with strikes. Hadden throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Bird!

Ryan Bird has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lar Hadden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hadden is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
And that's the end of the fight! Lar Hadden showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hadden, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
