The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams Ii lands a head kick. Ayim smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Williams Ii swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ayim counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Williams Ii really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ayim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ayim tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams Ii is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ayim passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ayim is working to tighten his grip on Williams Ii's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Williams Ii has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ayim is really squeezing tight and eventually Williams Ii passes out! Ayim breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
