Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Siro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ares's entrance music is Run This Town. A fine choice. Pekka Siro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares shoots in and drives through. Siro sprawls well.
Ares misses with a takedown attempt - Siro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Siro lands a jab to Ares's midsection.
Ares is breathing heavily.
Siro drops Ares with a big left hand and mounts him. Ares is in big trouble!
Ares is rocked!
It looks like Solomon Ares has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Siro wants to control the pace but Ares is squirming around nicely.
Siro controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Siro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Ares tries to hold on but Siro postures up.
Siro wants to control the pace but Ares is squirming around nicely.

Ares throwing hammer fists to the chest of Siro. What's that going to do exactly?

Ares is wriggling around trying to escape.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Siro wants to control the pace but Ares is squirming around nicely.

Despite being in the dominant position, Pekka Siro just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Siro fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ares checks it well.
Siro feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ares's calf.
Ares fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Solomon Ares. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Siro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ares. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Siro scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Siro feints a jab and as Ares dips his head, Siro unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Ares right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Ares falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Siro smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pekka Siro!
