Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucien Paol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paol has chosen Edith Piaf - La Vie En Rose as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucien Paol! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duncan has Paol up against the cage in a clinch.
Duncan is pressed up against the cage. Paol has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duncan down to the mat. Duncan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Paol closes the distance and clinches up with Duncan, looking for a takedown. Paol pushes Duncan against the cage but Duncan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Duncan misses with a two punch combination.
Paol will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Harry Duncan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucien Paol. Paol bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Paol is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Duncan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Paol working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paol thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan is looking to regain half guard here but Paol keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duncan is trying to control Paol's posture but Paol avoids it. Paol working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Paol looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Paol is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Duncan has escaped the position, nice work there. Paol has an Americana. Duncan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Paol is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Paol hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Lucien Paol! Lucien Paol took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
