Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wicked One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lapancadon Minare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lapancadon Minare!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minare misses with a takedown attempt - One sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
One swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Minare tries to keep at a distance but One has taken the fight into the clinch.
One missing with knees to the body.
Minare looking for a takedown.
One wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Minare has him pressed against the cage.
Minare manages to break the clinch.
One really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Minare fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One shoots in and bounces Minare off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
One knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Minare on the ground.

Minare working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. One doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. One manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Minare holds on and takes a little breather.
One wants to stand but Minare has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
One throwing strikes but missing.
One stands up from Minare's guard - One perhaps looking for a knockout.
One wants to clinch up but Minare keeps it at a distance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
One stuffs the takedown.
Wicked One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lapancadon Minare.
One rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Minare moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Minare fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but One avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from One.
One throws a head kick but Minare moves out of range.
As One backs off Minare throws a huge counter combo but One manages to avoid it all.

Minare wants to clinch.

One throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Minare tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. One is in Minare's guard.
Minare has his feet on One's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Minare misses with a wild combination.
One has closed the distance and engaged Minare in a clinch.
One effectively controlling the action here.

Minare breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Minare throws a right hand that One ducks under and follows up with a left that One also avoids with ease.
Minare fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Minare looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Minare blocks a head kick by One.
One tries to close the distance and clinch up but Minare swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Minare throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Minare darts in looking for a takedown but One gets double underhooks and turns Minare into the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Wicked One will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Minare wants to clinch up but One keeps it at a distance.
One tried to counter with a leg kick but Minare avoided it.
Minare has a takedown stuffed.
One drives through with a takedown into Minare's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Minare escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. One gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Minare is breathing heavily.
One trying to control but Minare is working from the bottom.

Minare looking for a guillotine here but One defends easily.
Minare trying to keep a closed guard but One is proving a slippery customer.

One is looking to advance position but Minare has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
One is trying desperately to improve position.
Minare tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Minare trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Minare controlling his opponent.
Lapancadon Minare has got the better of the ground game so far.

Minare landing strikes from the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Minare avoids the attempt from One to control.
Minare tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Lapancadon Minare showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

One is trying to control Minare's posture but Minare avoids it.

One displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Minare.

Minare pulls guard successfully.
Minare has control of One's left arm, preventing One from doing any damage.
One makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
One will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Minare is trying to control the position from the bottom.

One looking to sit in guard and control but Minare gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Minare sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed One's guard.

Minare is keen to just control but One is a slippery customer.
One tries to get to full guard but Minare has control of the leg.

Minare looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Minare is nestled in close to One, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Minare wants to lay and pray for a moment but One keeps working.
Minare performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

One is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Lapancadon Minare comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Minare has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
