Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gamel Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bates has chosen Gentleman as his entrance music. Ahmed has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bates scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ahmed doesn't seem bothered though.
Bates is looking to land body kicks.
Ahmed is looking to counter punch.
Bates changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
James Bates seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ahmed has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ahmed there as he acknowledges the shot.

Bates looks to throw the jab but Ahmed is out of range.

Bates throws a right hand that Ahmed ducks under and follows up with a left that Ahmed also avoids with ease.

Ahmed walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Oh Ahmed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bates closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bates breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bates closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ahmed! Bates dives in looking to finish! Ahmed is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Bates!
James Bates looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I just wanna thank the fans in attendance tonight. Without you guys we couldn't be doing this. Also, props to my opponent tonight. He was a tough son of a bitch so lets all give it up for him.'.
