PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antti Ahma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bravo Putai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahma has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bravo Putai!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putai needs to keep his hands up - Ahma had a free shot at his head there.
Ahma shoots for a double leg takedown but Putai sprawls well. He's pushed Ahma's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ahma steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Putai. That one must have hurt.
Putai is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ahma appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Putai shoots in looking for a takedown but Ahma manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Putai's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ahma throws a hook to the side of Putai's head but Putai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ahma misses with a hook. Putai ducked under it nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Putai.

Putai throws a looping overhand right but Ahma ducks down to avoid it.

Ahma keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Putai dives in and grabs Ahma's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ahma pushes down on Putai's head and hops out.
