Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vladislav Sviridov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sarah Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sviridov to the mat! Sviridov manages to get full guard.
Sviridov seems keen to control Simpson's posture.
Sviridov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Sviridov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Simpson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sviridov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Simpson shoots in and drives through. Sviridov sprawls well.
Simpson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Simpson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Sviridov's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Sviridov is desperately trying to improve his position but Simpson has a good base and remains in mount.
Sviridov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sviridov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Sarah Simpson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Simpson.

Simpson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sviridov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Simpson on the ground.
Simpson wants to take a breather but Sviridov is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
