Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quinten Hoogenkamp!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoogenkamp misses with a takedown attempt - Swetnam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Swetnam throws a quick counter head kick but Hoogenkamp was just out of range.
Swetnam misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Swetnam throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hoogenkamp.
Swetnam misses with a two punch combination.
A head kick misses from Swetnam.
Hoogenkamp is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoogenkamp working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Swetnam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Swetnam stops Hoogenkamp from passing to mount.
Hoogenkamp advances to full mount.
Hoogenkamp with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Swetnam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hoogenkamp on the ground.
Hoogenkamp keeps trying to improve his position.
Hoogenkamp working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Swetnam turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hoogenkamp off and cradles Swetnam's limp body as Hoogenkamp celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Quinten Hoogenkamp!
