The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Emerson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Emerson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Horrible takedown attempt by Emerson or perhaps it was just good defense by Leone, which made it look bad.

Emerson tries to clinch up but Leone circles away and keeps his distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Emerson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Leone throws out the jab.

Leone throws a right and a left that Emerson avoids nicely.
Leone cracks Emerson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Emerson moves in looking to clinch but Leone pushes him off.
The crowd cheers as Leone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Emerson doesn't seem phased though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Leone lands with a hook. Emerson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leone misses with a series of wild punches.
Leone lands with a nice body punch.
A left lands for Leone.
Emerson is rocked!
Leone moves in close and cracks Emerson with a massive right hand! Emerson, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Leone!
