Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gee New (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soulja Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soulja Boy has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gee New!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Soulja Boy!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
New cracks the inside of Boy's front leg.
New fails in his attempt to clinch.
A shot to de liver by New. Beautiful body shot.
Boy shoots in for a double leg but New sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boy swats away the attempt to clinch by New.
New tries to close the distance and clinch but Boy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boy keeps the fight on the outside.
Boy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Boy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Boy showed some decent athleticism there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Boy looks gassed!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Boy is keen to just control but New is a slippery customer.
Boy is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Boy content to control rather than advance.
New moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Boy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and New dives on top into guard.
Boy is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Boy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boy trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Boy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Boy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but New puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
New wants to pass to mount but Boy is defending the position.
Boy trying to control from the bottom.

Boy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Boy fails with an attempt to clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
New is looking to clinch.

Boy scores a takedown into full mount!
Boy content just to control the position here.
New is trying to stand.
Boy controlling from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Boy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Boy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
New is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

New knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boy on the ground.

Boy gets to his feet - New follows without any prompting.
Boy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Boy clinches.
Boy drops down looking for an ankle pick but New pulls his leg out and moves away.
New clinches but Boy breaks the clinch

and Boy counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Boy tries to pass to full mount but New defends it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
New is trying to stand back up but Boy is controlling him
Boy stalling.
Boy wants to stand up but New has a hold of him and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
New has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boy is working away from the top position though.

Boy is trying to work for a kimura but New is defending well.
Boy trying to control the action but New is working from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Boy closes this distance looking for a takedown but New circles away.
Gee New has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Soulja Boy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
New is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gee New is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Boy counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Boy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on New, up you get!
Boy misses with a body kick.
New lands a two punch combo.

and Boy counters with a single leg into guard. New didn't expect that.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
New not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Boy trying to control but New is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Soulja Boy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


New tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Boy counters with a nice kick to the body.

Boy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Boy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
New tries to roll over but Boy keeps him under control.
Boy is figuring out what he wants to do next.
New is trying to control but Boy passes into side control!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ground and pound from Boy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
New is pushing Boy's head away, looking to escape. Boy manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
New managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Boy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but New sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Boy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
New works his way to full guard. Good work.
Boy trying to control the position from guard on top but New is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boy throws a big right hand that misses.
Boy throwing strikes but missing.
New is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boy is controlling him.

Boy is pushing down on New's leg trying to pass to half guard. New is fighting to maintain full guard but Boy has managed to sneak the leg through.
New is looking to escape.
Boy is looking to advance position but New won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

New clinches up with Boy and pushes him back against the ropes.
Boy wants a takedown.
Boy has New pressed against the ropes.
Boy takes an elbow to the forehead.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by New as Boy tries to tie him up.
Boy tries to break the clinch but New is controlling the position.
New tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
New prevents the takedown attempt.
New lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
New has Boy pressed against the ropes.
Boy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gee New has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Soulja Boy.
New unloads a knee to the mid-section. Boy lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Boy tries to pull guard but New holds him up against the ropes and eventually Boy drops back down to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Soulja Boy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Boy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
