Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alastair Dunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Randerson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunn goes for a double leg but Randerson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Randerson continues to drive forward.
Randerson thuds a left hand into Dunn's body.
Dunn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Randerson pinned against the cage. Randerson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Randerson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Randerson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Dunn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dunn working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Dunn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dunn makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Dunn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dunn is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Randerson told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Randerson is rocked!


It looks like Randy Randerson has been cut.
Dunn is fighting to break Randerson's control of his arms but Randerson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Randerson is still in real trouble! Can Dunn finish him?
Randerson has momentary wrist control but Dunn slips an elbow through the middle.
Dunn postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Randerson covers up, he's hurt! Dunn keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Dunn and the ref steps in to end the fight! Dunn can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alastair Dunn!
Alastair Dunn seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
