Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roy Hugh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Down - Bury Me In Smoke. Roy Hugh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Walker misses with an uppercut. Hugh saw that one coming.
Hugh lands a big head kick that sends Walker tumbling to the mat! Hugh takes a step backwards and waves Walker back to his feet - he wants the finish!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Walker working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Hugh lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Roy Hugh will probably get the nod.

Walker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hugh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hugh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
