Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guy Davenport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Opjetronie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Opjetronie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guy Davenport! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Opjetronie! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Opjetronie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Davenport to the ground. Opjetronie is now in Davenport's guard. Davenport wants to get back to his feet but Opjetronie is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Opjetronie passes Davenport's left leg - he's now in half guard. Opjetronie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Opjetronie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davenport really is a fat lump.
That's one minute gone in the round. Opjetronie throwing shots but Davenport is blocking nicely. Opjetronie not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Davenport is looking to improve his position.
Opjetronie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davenport does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Opjetronie wants to free his trapped foot but Davenport is holding on for dear life with his legs. Opjetronie throws a strike but Davenport avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Davenport can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Opjetronie controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Opjetronie passes Davenport's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Opjetronie postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Davenport to stand up. Davenport closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Opjetronie makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Davenport looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Opjetronie! Opjetronie sneaks out the side door and pushes Davenport away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Opjetronie clinches up with Davenport and pushes him back against the cage. Opjetronie turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Opjetronie manages to end up in side control. Opjetronie wants to control but Davenport is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davenport managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Opjetronie.
The strikes coming from Opjetronie are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Davenport dodges the ground and pound from Opjetronie. Opjetronie controls the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Opjetronie wants to control but Davenport is keeping him busy. Opjetronie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Davenport rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Opjetronie's guard! Nice work there by Davenport! Opjetronie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davenport can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davenport is looking to work some ground and pound but Opjetronie has wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Davenport's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Davenport scoring with punches to the head and body. Davenport missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Davenport connects with a couple of short punches. Opjetronie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Davenport. Opjetronie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Opjetronie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Opjetronie looks winded! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davenport accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davenport keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Opjetronie's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davenport distracts Opjetronie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Davenport throws a strike but Opjetronie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Davenport has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Davenport keeping moving, preventing Opjetronie from controlling successfully. Davenport is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Opjetronie frees his head nicely. Oh but Davenport has switched to an armbar! Opjetronie is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
