Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Olson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramos comes to the cage accompanied by Sepultura - Nomad. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Henrique Ramos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Olson!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Andrew Olson has been cut.

Ramos gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ramos misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Olson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ramos connects with a single shot there.

Olson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Olson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Olson not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Olson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ramos is just riding it out for now. Olson eventually gives up the hold.
Ramos gets back to full guard.
Ramos wants to sweep but no luck.

Olson advances position into side control!
Ramos tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Olson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Ramos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Olson manages to get himself to full guard.


Olson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Olson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Olson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Olson is pressing down on Ramos's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ramos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ramos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Olson can do to turn this around?

Olson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramos throws a punch but it's blocked by Olson.
Olson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Olson prevents a body shot from Ramos.

Olson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ramos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Olson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ramos scores with a couple of nice shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Olson wants to control but Ramos is keeping busy.

Olson is looking for a sweep. Ramos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Olson has hold of Ramos's hands but Ramos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Olson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've been hearing that Ramos has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Ramos seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Ramos shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Olson takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Ramos sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Olson bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Henrique Ramos!
A relieved looking Henrique Ramos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
